In conversation, I referenced hearing this story a couple times over the weekend. The gist of it is some guy in Germany kept a lot of weird pets in ways that maybe he shouldn't. He was killed by a black widow spider, named Bettina and was not found for a week or two, and was munched on by some of the other animals - various spiders, lizards, snakes...
Gross.
